Living in Pennsylvania we’re privy to the glorious forests that make up Penn’s woods. These trees are an essential part of our ecosystem. They affect everything from flowers to bees and deer, even to the fish in our runs and streams. We also know that trees thrive on carbon dioxide and produce oxygen. Put simply, they help clean our atmosphere and provide fresh air.
In 2020 we’re committing to plant a tree for every 500 gallons delivered on Mondays. It’s a small way we can contribute to our country, its wildlife and its communities.
We’ve donated this year’s trees to reforestation in Appalachia and a part even went to help in Australia after the devastating fires there. These trees will ensure fresher air and help rebuild the ecosystem, animal habitats and help life come back to areas lost to fire, logging or mining.
Why Trees?
We decided to donate trees because it will directly help to reduce carbon in an area that matters deeply to our company. We enjoy the outdoors and activities like hiking, fishing, or hunting wouldn’t be possible without our forests. We hope that by using your fuel dollars to plant trees, we can create a positive impact, ensuring fresher air in the future and forests that thrive.
