Not sure how you’ll pay your next oil bill? The Pennsylvania Dept. of Human Services LIHEAP program helps those living on low income, as well as those who are experiencing an emergency or crisis and are unable to pay their heating or energy bills. This service is provided in the form of a cash grant, which does not have to be repaid. Each grant amount varies based on income and household size, but typically ranges from $200-$1,000. When you apply, be sure to name us as your fuel supplier and then once approved, the state will send us your grant directly so we can deliver heating oil to you.
Who is eligible?
You don’t have to be on public assistance or have unpaid heating bills to be eligible. If you’re not sure how you’ll afford your home heating oil, you can apply. You must meet the income requirements to be eligible. You can apply whether you rent or own.

Emergency situations include:
- Broken heating equipment or leaking fuel lines that must be fixed or replaced
- Lack of fuel (heating oil)
- The main heating source or second heating source (a source that is used to operate the main heating source or used if the main heating source is not working) has been completely shut-off
- The danger of being without fuel (less than a 15 day supply)
- The danger of having utility service terminated (you’ve received a notice that service will be shut off within the next 60 days)
